In the graph of the linear equation 5x + 5y = 40, there is a point such that its ordinate is 2 more
than its abscissa. Find coordinates of that point.

x = 3 : y = 5

Let x = 'x' and y = 'x+2'

Substituting the following quantities in the equation :

5(x) + 5(x+2) = 40

5x + 5x + 10 = 40

10x = 40 - 10

x = 30/10 = 3

y = x+2 = 3+2 = 5
